My first ever crop

Last night I went out to my first ever crop. I didn't know quite what to expect so I took a bag full of bits and bobs and a kit I got with Alex's 12x12 album. It was mainly a group of cardmakers being taught a new technique by a lady named Bridgit but there were two other ladies besides me scrapping so I had a nice chat and will go back again next time although they have insisted I have to take my albums! I did say there are 6 of them so it will be heavy lol.
It was interesting to try and scrap with very limited stash, although I had this kits it was all heavily patterned paper no card and no plain colours apart from photo mats. I had got my bling and blooms though and a few ribbons and brads so I quite like what I managed to produce :)

  1. I know what you mean about scrapping with limited stash, it's the one downside of a crop, I find. Infact, it can take me almost as long to decide what to take with me as I spend actually at the crop itself!

    Lovely LOs, though.

  2. Well I'm no expect at scrapping at a crop, I can spend a whole day just chatting and doing nothing LOL ... but look at you, you've produced great layouts. I have found though, if I do want to be productive, it's good to take a page kit with me and a sketch - sometimes too, I cut out my title at home on the cricut. Don't way yourself down with too much either - you'll get fed up taking so much with you - maybe take an album each time :) ... Lovely though that you enjoyed yourself, I'm sure you'll make lots of new friends with these ladies.
